i have cp, and i noticed that after not sleeping, things like the senses become more intense- especially sound and touch. also spasticity increases. the longer i go without sleep, the worse they become. as a result, sleep is harder to achieve, and it becomes a terrible cycle. is this typical?

  1. I don’t know…why aren’t you sleeping? can you get medication to help you sleep?

  2. Stress from less sleep can have an adverse effect on just about anyone’s nerves. Taking a supplement like Calm (a magnesium drink) or Stemgevity can help calm the nerves and make improvements in sleep.
